AllData_J1 Batch processor
NOTE: Updated version - "AllData_J1c"
I have uploaded the latest update to AllData NI Batch, "AllData_J1c". This version works exactly the same as version 12, but, now has the capability to import JCapper/HDW data files. In order to take advantage of this new capability, you must become a "Flex Plan" data subscriber of JCapper. The "JCapper Silver" software is free, with the unlimited "Flex Plan" from HDW. Download by the day for $5.95 per download day, or by the month for $89. The daily download plan caps out at $89 per month so you never pay more than that per month, no matter how many days you download per month. Skip months if you wish and you pay nothing. The "Flex Plan" allows unlimited file downloads for every track in North America, by the day or by the month. No long term contracts to sign, and you get the JCapper Silver software for free!!
JCapper.com has all the information and pricing. Here's the link:

NOTE: AllData_J1c fixes a problem with quarter horse races intermixed with thoroughbred races on the same card.
So, scroll down to the bottom of the page and download version "J1c".

NEW VERSION!! One of our users has modified his version of "J1", adding 3 new worksheets. He has agreed to share his work with the rest of us, so I have uploaded that version below the "J1" download, below. The new workbook is named "AllData_J1_Custom_PrintSheets_v5.xls".
The 3 new worksheets are named "Form", "Odds", and "Print". The "Form" sheet assigns points based on form. The "Odds" sheet creates an odds line for use as a guide to value betting. And the "Print" sheet combines both of those sheets' data, along with a bunch of other data, all on one view, including several graphs/charts for visual analysis. If you have good eyesight (unlike some of us older players, you can select the data, or set the "print area" in Excel, and print all that data on one page. You will have to print in "Landscape" mode to get all the data on one page. You could alternately select portions of the sheet and print the data on 2 or 3 pages, to allow larger text for easier viewing.
So, for those of you who have been wanting to take your AllData J1 data to the track or OTB, here's your solution.
Go to the "Odds" sheet and follow the "Step" comments to produce the odds line, for each race. I will create a thread in the "AllData NI Batch" section of my excel spreadsheet handicapping forum located here: http://alldataexcel.freeforums.org/new-version-of-j1-t306.html . So, ask your questions there or on the Pace Advantage forum, Software section, AllData Free sticky thread.
Thanks Fred!! We appreciate all your hard work, and your willingness to share it with us! Well done!!

Batch Processing arrives for AllData NI !!
The long awaited release of AllData NI_Batch has finally arrived. Below you will find the download for this latest version of AllData NI Batch.
You will find a couple of new worksheets in this version, the "Distance Equalization" and "Pizzola Pace Ratings" sheets.
The distance equalization sheet is where all the fractional and final times, for each paceline, have been equalized to today's distance, in columns "AI" through "AL". I have not added the ability to "manual override" the paceline selections, on this worksheet, but may add that later, likewise, the "Scratch Horse" ability. The manual override and scratch actions must be performed on the AllData worksheet. The Overrides and Scratches do affect what goes to the "Summary Distance Equalized Times and Pace Ratings" view. This new Summary is located directly below the "Summary Pace Ratings" and "Summary Past Performances" views. There is a navigational button for this new summary at the top-left of the "Summary Past Performances" view that will jump you down to the new Summary for the equalized times and pace (TPR) ratings.
The "Pizzola Pace Ratings" sheet is just the Pizzola ratings charts for getting the pace and final fraction ratings for the equalized times. Please do not make any changes to these charts, unless you have a good reason for doing so, like a better rating scale, etc.. What ever you change these ratings to will be returned in the "vlookup" formulas in the new summary view.
While on the subject of the new summary view, you will see that I have added some comments for the "Pace Ratings" columns. These ratings' title cells have a red triangle in the top-right corner of the cells. Hover your mouse curser over each cell to get an explanation of what is in these columns. "PPF" is Pizzola's "Projected Power Fraction" rating. "AEPF" is my own abbreviation for the Average of EPR and PPF. "TEPF" is my own abbreviation for the Total (or Sum) of EPR and PPF. In the top-right corner of the Summary view you will find my modified Randy Giles "Pace Pressure Gauge" ("PPG") showing the projected winning run style (at present it will say either "Early" or "Late". I plan to expand this projection into "E", "EP", "P", "S" later but have to work out some logic and rules first). The "PPG" also shows the total of all horses speed points with E, EP, or P styles, which also have at least 5 speed points, as well as showing the number of "E" horses in the race. So, a "Late 32 x 5" would mean that the winner should come from off the pace and there are 32 total speed points from E, EP, and P horses having at least 5 speed points each, and, there are 5 "E" horses in the race. There are 2 navigational buttons at the top-left of the view for jumping back to the "Summary Past Performances" view or the "Past Performances" view.
The rest of the workbook is unchanged, I think .
PS: Don't forget to use the "List Cards" and "List Results" buttons to list your own data files, before clicking the "Run Data" button. The cards and results listed, when you first open the version, come from Harry's computer and will not be available to the program. You must "List" the cards and results files in your own personal data folders
Also, make sure you click either the "Daily Play?" button, or, the "With Results?" button before clicking the "Run Data" button. This tells the import macro whether or not to import results for the card you are importing. The import will fail if you try to import results and the correct results file is not in your results folder.
Also, make sure your 2 folder paths are correct, for your data files and results files.
